Note, AISS needs RELIABLE agents for part time surveillance. If you can not be at a designated location on time and follow the instructions
of your assignment, (including reporting your final time and miles when you are done for the day), please do not waste our time or yours. We will
not send any assignments to those who can not follow simple instructions.
PART TIME SURVEILLANCE OPERATIVE (On An As Needed Basis)
** Experience With Domestic Surveillance - Static and Vehicular
** Experience With Insurance/Worker's Comp Surveillance - Static and Vehicular
** You Must Have Your Own Equipment
****** Working Vehicle With Tinted Windows
****** Video Camera - Digital or Hi-8
****** Cell Phone
****** Small Voice Recorder - Digital or Tape
****** Digital Camera - Optional but Recommended
****** Laptop Computer - Optional but Recommended
****** Other Surveillance Equipment a Plus - Pinhole Cameras, Night Vision, etc.
** Looking for Surveillance Operatives Living In The Spring, Conroe, Downtown Houston, and Southwest Houston Areas.
** Preference Given To Those Who Already Hold A DPS Private Investigator Pocket Card. We have not had good luck recently hiring those with no experience
or no current PI pocket card. We may make an exception for candidates with exceptional skills or references.
** Pay Rate Depends On Experience. Most Experienced Surveillance Contractors Are Paid ~$20/Hour And .45 - .55 Cents Per Mile.

Attention to detail and following instructions are key to being an investigator. If you cannot follow the two simple steps
listed above, you will not be considered for employment.
ALSO: When you send out your resume, it's best to put the 10-15 other PI Agencies email addresses that you are sending to in the Bcc
field, instead of the Cc field. It looks less "personal" to see that you are applying to every agency in town, and often firms
will assume that someone else will hire you.
PLEASE VIEW THE PART TIME EMPLOYEE CONTRACT for people with only
a DPS Private Investigator Pocket Card who wish to do part time surveillance work.
PLEASE VIEW THE SUB-CONTRACTOR CONTRACT for people with their own company
license who wish to do sub-contract surveillance work.
If you are considered for employment, a more formal in-depth interview will be scheduled.
BECAUSE OF THE SENSITIVE NATURE OF INVESTIGATIONS, AND THE POSSIBILITY OF TESTIFYING IN COURT,
ONLY APPLICANTS WITH A CLEAN CRIMINAL BACKGROUND WILL BE CONSIDERED.
